Center Mount Tiller: A new ergonomically designed tiller handle is 8 in. longer and angled 5 in. higher for improved handling. A front-mounted shift lever, power tilt and trim switch, and engine alert lamps provide added convenience.


Power Trim/Tilt: Allows user to trim the unit for maximum performance and handling. Trim Range: - 4° to +12°; Tilt Range: 67°


3 to 3 Induction: A compact 3-cylinder, 3-carburetor design utilizes one carburetor per cylinder. More responsive than competitive throttle bodies with long intake runners, the design provides smooth, quiet operation, along with instant throttle response and performance.


Offset Crankshaft Design: The BF40’s exclusive crankshaft design locates the powerhead directly over the transom pivot point to reduce vibration and improve performance and handling.
